1

SPLENDID, O Aśvins, is your praise. Come, flow like streams, to pour the sweet Soma. It’s dear in heaven, Chiefs, to drink like two wild bulls at a pool.

2

Drink the rich libation, O Aśvins Twain: sit down, heroes, on the sacred grass. With joy, preserve his life by wealth, in the home of man.

3

The Priyamedhas call you, bring all your powers. Come to his house where holy grass is trimmed, for dear sacrifice at the morning rites.

4

Drink the rich Soma, O Aśvins Twain: sit down gladly on the sacred grass. So, grow mighty, from heaven come as wild-bulls to the pool.

5

Come to us, O Aśvins, with horses of many hues, You Lords of splendor, wondrous, on golden paths, drink Soma, you who strengthen Law.

6

For we, the priestly singers, wish to praise you, invoke you for strength. So, wondrous, fair, and famous for great deeds, come to us, Aśvins, when we sing.
