CALL YOU, Aśvins, these early morning sacrifices. For help, I invoke you rich in power and might; for, house by house, you visit all.
O Heroes, you bestow wonderful nourishment. Send it to him whose songs are sweet, both of you, drive your chariot down to us, and drink the savory Soma juice.
Approach and be near to us. Drink, O Aśvins, of the meath. Draw forth the milk, you Mighty, rich in genuine wealth; do not injure us, and come to us.
The horses that carry you in swift flight to the worshipper’s home, With these your swift horses, Heroes, Aśvins, come, ye Gods, come well-disposed to us.
Indeed, our princes seek the Aśvins in pursuit of food. These will give lasting glory to our generous lords, and both Nāsatyas, shelter us.
Those who lead the way, like cars, not offending anyone, those who guard the men— Also through their own might the heroes grow strong and dwell in safe and happy homes.
