1

Filled with abundance, encompassing all that exists, vast, spacious, dripping nectar, beautiful in their shape, The Sky and Earth by Varuṇa’s command, unending, rich in seeds, stand apart from each other.

2

The Eternal Pair, with full rivers, rich in milk, in their pure rule pour abundance for the righteous man. You who govern this world, O Earth and Sky, pour into us the bountiful flow that fosters meit.

3

Whoever, for a virtuous life, offers sacrifices to you, O Sky and Earth, you Hemispheres, that man succeeds. Born again in his seed, spreading by Law: from you come things diverse in form, yet ruled alike.

4

Enveloped in abundance, Sky and Earth shine with it: they mix with the abundance that they still increase. Broad, wide, chosen first by the priest, to them the singers pray for bliss to further them.

5

May Sky and Earth pour down the balmy rain for us, balm-dropping, yielding balm, with balm on your path, Bestowing by your divinity sacrifice and wealth, great fame and strength for us and heroic might.

6

May Sky and Earth provide plentiful sustenance for us, all-knowing Father, marvelously in their works. Pouring out bounty, may both the worlds, all beneficial, send us gain, power, and wealth.
