1

We call upon Indra and Pūṣan for friendship and prosperity, and to win the spoils.

2

One drinks the Soma juice, while the other craves curds and grains.

3

The team has goats pulling it; the other has swift bay horses ready. With both teams, he vanquishes the demons.

4

When Indra, mighty and strong, brings down the rivers and floods, Pūṣan stands by his side.

5

To Pūṣan’s favor and Indra’s, may we hold close as to a tree’s outstretched branches.

6

May we draw Pūṣan near, as one draws in the reins of a chariot, and Indra, for our great success.
