1

Son of Deliverance, come, bright God! Let us go together: be our sacrificial charioteer.

2

We pray for wealth to you, most skilled charioteer, with braided hair, Lord of great riches, and our Friend.

3

Bright God whose steeds are goats, you are a stream of wealth, a treasure-heap, The Friend of every pious person.

4

Pūṣan, who drives goats for horses, the strong and Mighty one, Called "His Sister's lover," let us praise.

5

To your Mother I speak. May he who loves his Sister hear, Brother of Indra, and my Friend.

6

May the sure-footed goats come near, carrying Pūṣan in his chariot, The God who visits mankind.
