O Pūṣan, lead us to the one who knows, who will guide us straight,
And tell us, it is here.
May we go forth with Pūṣan who shows us the way,
And tell us, these are them.
Pūṣan’s chariot wheel is unharmed, the axle never falls,
Nor does the loosened wheel shake.
Pūṣan remembers the man who offers gifts to him,
That man gathers wealth first.
May Pūṣan watch over our cattle, protect our horses,
Gather gear for us.
Follow the cattle of the one who pours libations and worships you,
And those who sing your praises.
Let no one be lost, no one injured, no one broken in a pit,
Return all safe and sound.
Pūṣan who hears our prayers, the Strong whose wealth never fades,
Lord of riches, we beseech.
Secure in your protection, O Pūṣan, may we never falter,
Here are we who sing your praise.
From afar, wide and wide, may Pūṣan stretch his right hand,
And bring back our lost ones to us.
