Let Indra drink, hail! For he has Soma—mighty Bull, surrounded by Maruts, hither. Far-reaching, let him fill him with these offerings, and may our sacrifice satisfy his hunger.
I yoke your two loyal Horses for speed, whose faithful service you have loved since long ago. Here, fair of cheek! Place you on these beautiful libations: drink of this lovely well-sated libation.
They made Indra their Good Protector with milk, praising him for help and rule over the generous rain. Impetuous God, when you have drunk the Soma, may you send us cattle in abundance.
With cows and horses, satisfy this desire with great splendor, extending it still more. Seeking the light, with hymns to you, O Indra, the Kusikas bring their gift, the singers.
We call upon Maghavan, auspicious Indra, the Best Hero in battle where spoils are gathered; The Strong One who listens, who aids in battles, who slays the Vṛtras, wins and gathers riches.
