1

At the Trikadrukas, the Great and Strong drank a mixture of Soma juice and grain. With Viṣṇu, he quaffed the poured-out Soma juice, all that he desired. That greatly elevated him, the Great, the Wide, to perform his mighty deeds. May the God attain the God, true Indu Indra who is true.

2

So he shone resplendent in battle, overcoming Kṛ́vi by might. With his majesty, he filled the earth and sky, and grew strong. He took one share of the libation and left one share. May the God attend the God, true Indu Indra who is true.

3

Born together with wisdom and mighty power, you grew great; with heroic deeds subduing the wicked, most swift in action; Granting prosperity and lovely wealth to him who praises you. May the God attend the God, true Indu Indra who is true.

4

This, Indra, was your heroic deed, the first and ancient work, worthy to be told in heaven, When you sent down life with divine power, freeing the floods. May he conquer all that is godless with his might, and, Lord of Hundred Powers, give us strength and sustenance.
