1

He who reveres you, Manyu, the destructive bolt, will soon gain all-conquering power for himself. Arya and Dāsa will we conquer with your help, along with the Conqueror, and victory.

2

Manyu was Indra, indeed, the God, was Manyu, Manyu was Hotar, Varuṇa, Jātavedas. The human lineages worship Manyu. May you, with your fervor, protect us.

3

Come hither, Manyu, mightier than the mighty; chase with your fervor our enemies. Slayer of foes, slayer of Vṛtra, and slayer of Dasyu, bring all kinds of wealth and treasure to us.

4

You are of great strength, Manyu, fierce, quelling the foe, self-existent. Shared by all men, victorious, subduer: grant us superior strength in battle.

5

I have left, still without a portion, Wise God! According to your will, the Mighty. I, weak man, called upon you, O Manyu, I am myself; come to give me strength.

6

Come hither. I am all yours; advance to me, Victorious, All-supporter! Come to me, Manyu, Thunder-wielder; think of your friend and slay the Dasyu.

7

Approach, and stand on my right hand; thus we will slay many enemies. Best of meath, I offer to support you; may we be first to drink it in peace.
