May Varuṇa guide us straight, and Mitra lead us, the one who knows, And Aryaman in harmony with the gods.
For they distribute wealth and, unswayed, with their might Guard the eternal laws.
May they protect us, Immortals for mortals, Chasing our foes away.
May they show us paths to joy, Indra, Maruts, Pūṣan, And Bhaga, the gods we adore.
Yes, Pūṣan, Viṣṇu, you who run your course, Enrich our hymns with cattle, bless us with all good fortune.
The winds carry sweet things, rivers pour sweet gifts For the man who follows the law; may plants be sweet for us.
Sweet be the night, sweet the dawns, sweet the earthly air; Sweet be our Father Heaven to us.
May the tall tree be filled with sweetness for us, and the Sun too, May our cows be sweet for us.
May Mitra be kind to us, and Varuṇa and Aryaman, Indra, Bṛhaspati be kind, and Viṣṇu with his great stride.
