GREAT as he was, Soma gained strength through this high ceremony: Joyfully he rises like a bull.

His task is done: his crushing of the Dasyus is evident: He sternly counts their debts.

As soon as his praise-song is born, the Soma, Indra’s nectar, becomes A thousand-destroying thunderbolt.

Seer and Sustainer, he himself desires wealth for the wise one When he decorates his songs.

They both wish to win wealth as in horse races. In battle You stand on the side of the victors.
