1

The Soma drops that shower blessings have flowed to honor our king.

2

Then Trita’s maidens urge the golden ones with stones, Indu for Indra, for his drink.

3

Now like a swan he makes all the company sing each his hymn: He, like a steed, is bathed in milk.

4

O Soma, looking at heaven and earth, you run like a swift deer Set in the place of sacrifice.

5

The cows sang joyfully to him, just as a woman to her lover He came to a settled race.

6

Grant us illustrious fame, both to our generous lords and me, Glory, intelligence, and wealth.
