1

WITH the skilled hands, through the song, this Hero swiftly arrives at Indra’s place.

2

IN holy thoughts, he deeply considers the great worship of the gods.

3

LIKE a well-trained horse, he is led out, as the gleaming paths are trodden by swift horses.

4

HE raises his horns high, the Bull leading the herd, performing heroic deeds with might.

5

HE rides, a vigorous steed, adorned with radiant golden rays, becoming the sovereign of the rivers.

6

HE descends into the reservoirs, bringing rich treasures close together.

7

MEN adorn him in the vats, worthy to be adorned, he who brings abundant food.

8

HIM, TEN fingers and SEVEN songs make beautiful, well-equipped, the best of cheerers.
