1

To Soma, purified and serving as the chief priest, we sing this hymn: Bring us wealth, as it were, to one who makes you joyful with songs.

2

Mixed with milk and curds, he flows through the long wool of the sheep. The Golden One, purified, makes him three seats for rest.

3

Through the long wool of the sheep, he flows to the mead vat: The Rishis' sevenfold choir has sung to him loudly.

4

Shared by all gods, Infallible, the Leader of our holy hymns, Golden-hued Soma, after being cleansed, reaches the bowls.

5

Associate with Indra, as a purified priest, immortal one, After your godlike qualities.

6

Like a car-horse showing its strength, a god effused for deities. The penetrating Pavamana flows along.
