1

Great indeed is Indra’s power. I saw it, and now you come here, With your bounty, Dasyu-veer!

2

A hundred white oxen shine like stars in the sky, So tall they seem to hold up the heavens.

3

A hundred bamboos, a hundred dogs, a hundred tanned skins of beasts, A hundred Balbaja tufts, four hundred red-hoofed mares belong to me.

4

Blessed by the gods, Kinvayanas! You spread through life to life: Like horses you stride forward.

5

Men praise the team of seven not yet fully grown, its fame is great. The dark mares race along the paths, no eye can follow them.
