Like heroes on your chariots, far-shining, Wonder-workers! you Attend, O Aśvins, on the Dawn.
By you, O Lords of abundant wealth, our songs of praise have been sung: As envoy, I have brought the prayer.
Kaṇvas must praise the dear Aśvins, making them glad, Richly, that they may help us.
Most liberal, best at winning strength, inciters, Lords of splendor who Visit the worshipper’s home.
So for devout Sudeva, dew with plenty, his unending mead, And make it rich for sacrifice.
Hitherward running swiftly with horses, as with swift hawks, Come, Aśvins, to our song of praise.
With which the three wide distances, and all the lights in heaven, You traverse, and three times of night.
O Finders of the Day, that we may win food of cattle and wealth, Open the paths for us to tread.
O Aśvins, bring us wealth in cattle, in noble heroes, and in cars: Bring us the strength that horses give.
Ye Lords of splendor, glorified, ye Wonder-workers borne on paths Of gold, drink sweet Soma juice.
To us, ye Lords of abundant wealth, and to our wealth chiefs extend Wide shelter, never to be attacked.
Come quickly down to the prayer of people whom ye favor most: Approach not unto other folk.
Ye Aśvins whom our minds perceive, drink of this lovely draught, The mead which we present to you.
Bring riches here for us in hundreds and thousands, source Of plentiful food, sustaining all.
Verily, sages call on you, ye Heroes, in many places. Moved by the priests, O Aśvins, come.
Men who trim the sacred grass, bringing offerings and prepared, O Aśvins, are invoking you.
May this our hymn of praise today, most powerful to bring you, O Aśvins, be nearest to your hearts.
