1

May the god Savitar, rich in goodly treasures, riding on horses, come here, Holding much that makes men happy, lulling them to sleep and stirring creatures.

2

Golden, sublime, and swift in motion, his arms reach to the limits of the sky. Now let his might be praised: even Surya bows to him in vigorous action.

3

May this god Savitar, the Strong and Mighty, the Lord of precious wealth, grant us treasures. May he, spreading his radiant light, give us the food that sustains mortals.

4

These songs praise Savitar whose speech is sweet, praise him whose arms are full, whose hands are lovely. Grant us high vitality, manifold, and preserve us evermore, gods, with blessings.
