1

Make a home for you to live in, Indra: Much-invoked, go there with the heroes. That you might help us prosper, grant us wealth, and fill us with the joy of Soma.

2

Indra, your wish, twice as strong, is understood. The Soma is pressed, and pleasant juices are poured. This hymn, spoken from a free tongue, brings Indra to itself with loud invocation.

3

Come, you Impetuous One; God, from earth or heaven. Come to our holy grass to drink the Soma. Let your Bay Horses bring you here to hear our hymns and make you joyful.

4

Come to us with all your aid, Lord of Bay Steeds, accepting our devotion. Fair-helmeted, overcoming with might, and giving us the strength of bulls, O Indra.

5

Like a vigorous horse to its chariot pole, this praise is brought to the great strong Upholder. This hymn seeks your wealth; in heaven, as if above the sky, set our glory.

6

With precious things, O Indra, thus content us. May we attain to your exalted favor. Send our leaders abundant food with heroic children. Preserve us always, gods, with blessings.
