Bring sacrifices to him, Wise One, for he thirsts for Soma’s drink, The swift-comer who leads the way, the brave one always at the front.

Go to him, chief drinker of Soma, with Soma and its juice, With beakers to the Impetuous One, to Indra with the drops bestowed.

When you come before the God with Soma and its juice, He knows the hopes of each and, Bold One, strikes down both foes.

To him, Adhvaryu! Offer up the juice in sacrifice. Will he not protect us from the scornful curse of every proud high-born foe?
