Whether, O Aśvins, today you be far off or near,

In many places or aloft, come hither, Lords of great wealth.

These here, who span the widest expanse, bringing many wonders,

I seek and call the Mightiest, to share in this glory.

Another wheel you’ve set in place, adorning your chariot,

With others through the realms you roam, among the neighboring tribes.

That deed of yours, Visvas, all has been done with this,

Born otherwise, and spotless, you’ve joined our kinship’s bond.

When Sūrya rides in your chariot, ever swift and bright,

Birds of red hue circle around, and flames surround you.

Ati thinks of you, Heroes, with a friendly heart,

When, Nāsatyas, with his mouth he stirs the flame for you.

Your swiftly moving steed is strong, and in the race he excels,

By your great deeds, Aśvins, Chiefs, Ati brings us back.

Lovers of sweetness, Rudras, she who streams with sweetness,

When you travel through the seas, men bring you well-prepared food.

Aśvins, called bestowers of felicity, two,

At sacrifice most prompt to hear, most gracious to the sacrifice.

Most pleasing to the Aśvins be these prayers that magnify their might,

Which we have crafted, and high reverence we have spoken forth.
