O Sage, invoke the Two Deities, the very wise, who vanquish enemies.
For Varuṇa, whose form is Law, make offerings to please him greatly.
For they have gained complete dominion, a divine power.
And, like majestic laws, the human world has become beautiful as light.
Therefore, we praise you so that your chariots may lead ahead of ours—
You who accept the praise of Ratahavya through his hymns.
And you, Wonder-Gods, with abundance of intelligence.
By men’s discernment are these marks set, O you whose might is pure.
This is the Supreme Law, O Earth: to assist the Rishis in their efforts for fame.
The Two, broad-spread, are ready. They come with abundant overflow.
Mitra, you Gods with wandering eyes, may we and the worshippers
Strive to reach the realm you rule, most expansive and well-protected.
