1
Your messenger who has everything, immortal, bearer of your gifts, Best worshipper, I sing to you.
2
He, mighty, knows the gift of wealth, he knows the depths of heaven: He will bring the gods here.
3
He knows, a god himself, to lead the gods to the righteous in his home: He gives even treasures we love.
4
He is the herald: well-informed, he goes back and forth, Knowing the depths of heaven.
5
May we be those who offer sacrifices to Agni, Who cherish and kindle him.
6
They are illustrious for wealth and heroic deeds, victorious, Who serve Agni reverently.
7
May riches we desire come to us every day, And power and might grow for us.
8
May the holy singer, strong and swift, Shoot his arrows faster than the men's swift shafts.
