1

We will invoke today your chariot, wide-spreading, O Aśvins, the gathering of sunlight— The chariot praised in hymns, most ample, rich in treasure, equipped with seats, the chariot that bears Sūrya.

2

Aśvins, you gained that glory by your divinity, you Sons of Heaven, by your own might and power. Food follows closely after your bright appearance as your stately horses pull you in your chariot.

3

Who brings you today for help with offerings, or with hymns to drink the Soma’s juice? Who, for the sacrifice’s ancient lover, turns you here, Aśvins, with homage?

4

Borne on your golden chariot, you omnipresent! Come to this sacrifice of ours, Nāsatyas. Give us the pleasant Soma’s drink, wealth to the people who adore you.

5

Come hitherward to us from earth, from heaven, borne on your golden chariot rolling lightly. Do not let other worshippers stay here; you are bound by earlier bonds of friendship.

6

Now for us both, measure out, O Wonder-Workers, riches exceeding great with a store of heroes, Because the men send you praise, O Aśvins, and Ajamīlhas come to the laudation.

7

When we gratify you here together, your grace is given to us, O you rich in booty. Protect, you Two, the singer of your praises: to you, Nāsatyas, is my wish directed.
