1

March forward, ready teams, and lovely songs on their journey. Further them with a yoked chariot, glorious Pūṣan, and the Mighty Two!

2

With sacred hymns, may this man here, this singer, bring the God to whom Belongs this majesty and might. He has heard our praises.

3

Pūṣan the Strong knows sweet praises as Indu does. He moistens our crops with dew and waters the pasture of our cows.

4

We shall remember you, O Pūṣan, O God, as One. Who fulfills our hymns and stirs the singer and the wise.

5

Joint sharer of every sacrifice, driver of the chariot horses; The Rishi who is good to men, friend to the singer and faithful guard.

6

One who is Lord of Suca, Lord of Suca caring for itself: Weaving the sheep’s garment and making it beautiful.

7

The mighty Lord of spoils and wealth, Strong Friend of all prosperity; He moves his beard with swift steps, lovely and never to be deceived.

8

O Pūṣan, may your goats turn hitherward your chariot pole. Friend of all suppliants; born in old times, and arm and sure.

9

May the majestic Pūṣan speed our chariot with his power and might. May he increase our wealth and listen to this call of ours.
