1

Ascending the sky, he reveals the night and everything that stands or moves, As he, the sole God, is supreme among all other gods.

2

All men are joyful under your power, O God, from the dry wood you live and grow. All truly share your divinity while they follow the eternal law in their ways.

3

The thought of law is strong, and it guides all actions; they perform all tasks. May those who offer sacrifice and gifts to you, thinking of you, receive your bounty.

4

As the priest with Manu's lineage, he alone holds all treasures in his hand. Men long for children to extend their line, and they are not let down in their hopes.

5

Those who hear his words fulfill his wishes as sons obey their father's command. He, rich in sustenance, opens his wealth like doors; he, the Friend of the House, has adorned heaven's dome with stars.
