1

For the celestial race, this song of praise that showers wealth generously, Was crafted by singers with their lips.

2

Those who, with their minds, created horses harnessed by a word, Attained by deeds to sacrifice.

3

They fashioned a swift chariot for the two Nāsatyas, moving everywhere, And made a nectar-giving cow.

4

The Rbhus, with potent prayers, honest and hardworking, restored Their Father and Mother to youth.

5

Together came your cheering drops, surrounded by Indra and Maruts, With the Ādityas and the Kings.

6

Newly wrought by God Tvaṣṭar’s hand, four ladles did you make—

7

Grant us wealth, to him who pours three times seven libations, indeed, Give wealth, pleased with our praises.

8

As devout priests they held, through pious acts they earned a share, In sacrifice with the gods.
