By good paths, Agni, lead us to wealth and prosperity. Remove the sins that make us stray and wander. We will offer you most extensive praise.
Lead us anew to happiness, O Agni; lead us beyond all danger and suffering. May you bless us with a wide, expansive castle. May your blessings reach our sons and offspring.
Far from us, Agni, place all diseases. Let those who do harm not have saving Agni. May our home be blessed by all Immortal Deities, O Holy One.
Preserve us, Agni, with constant support. Shine in the home you love. O Conqueror, most youthful, may no danger touch him who praises you today or tomorrow.
Do not give us over to sin, O Agni, the greedy foe that brings us trouble. Not to the fangs that bite, not to the toothless: do not give us over, Conqueror, to the spoiler.
As you are born under Law, O Agni, when praised, protect our bodies. From whoever seeks to reproach or harm: for you, God, deliver us from all oppression.
You, discerning both these classes, come to men at dawn, O holy Agni. Be obedient to man at dusk, adorned keenly by eager suitors.
To him we address our pious words, I, Māna's son, to this victorious Agni. May we gain countless riches with the wise. May we find abundant nourishment.
