1

The hero of men, who loves all people, King of the Races, Indra, called by many, Fame-loving, praised, come here with help, having yoked both strong Bay Horses!

2

Your mighty Horses, yoked by prayer, O Indra, your Coursers to your mighty Chariot harnessed— Mount them now, and borne by them come here: with Soma poured, Indra, we call you.

3

Mount your mighty Chariot: the mighty Soma is poured for you and sweet offerings sprinkle around us. Come down to us, Hero of human races, come, having yoked them, with strong Bay Horses.

4

Here is the sacrifice reaching gods, here the victim; here, Indra, are the prayers, here is the Soma. Sacred grass strewn: come here, Śakra; sit and drink: unyoke your two Bay Horses.

5

Come to us, Indra, come highly praised to the devotions of the singer Māna. Singing, may we find early through your help, may we find abundant nourishment.
