1

On that splendid chariot of yours, O Indra and Agni, which encompasses all living beings, Take up your positions and join with us, and partake of the flowing Soma libations.

2

As wide as all this world is in its expanse, deep as it is, with its boundless surface, So may this Soma be, Indra and Agni, made for your drinking until your soul is satisfied.

3

For you have earned a blessed name together: indeed, with one purpose you strive, O Vṛtra-slayers. So, Indra and Agni, seated here together, pour in, mighty ones, the mighty Soma.

4

Both adorned with fire, when fires are duly lit, spreading the sacred grass, with raised ladles, Drawn by the strong Soma juice poured around us, come, Indra and Agni, and show your favor.

5

The brave deeds you have done, Indra and Agni, the forms you have displayed and mighty exploits, The ancient and auspicious bonds of friendship— for these sake drink of the flowing Soma.

6

As first I said when choosing you, in battle we must contend with Asuras for this Soma. So came you to this true conviction, and drank libations of the flowing Soma.

7

If in your home, or with prince or Brahmin, you, Indra and Agni, Holy Ones, rejoice, Even from there, mighty Lords, come hither and drink libations of the flowing Soma.

8

If with the Yadus, Turvasha, you dwell, with Druhyus, Anus, Pūrus, Indra and Agni! Even from there, mighty Lords, come hither and drink libations of the flowing Soma.

9

Whether, O Indra and Agni, you be dwelling in lowest earth, in central, or in highest, Even from there, mighty Lords, come hither and drink libations of the flowing Soma.

10

Whether, O Indra and Agni, you be dwelling in highest earth, in central, or in lowest, Even from there, mighty Lords, come hither and drink libations of the flowing Soma.

11

Whether you be in heaven, O Indra and Agni, on earth, on mountains, in herbs, or waters, Even from there, mighty Lords, come hither and drink libations of the flowing Soma.
